Clifton Kitchen Quarter

Warrenton, Virginia

The Clifton Kitchen Quarter was one of my first projects as Weir Woodworks. The Clifton Institute is not focused on preservation as part of their mission, but, they have made saving this building a priority. In 2020, I helped to replace the openings after the logs had been repaired. Using a salvaged window box, I designed and built new jambs for the windows and doors. In 2025 I returned to the site with a friend and colleague to replace the gable siding and conserve the plaster keys.
